Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

My psychodynamic therapy practice helps people make sense of their experiences by exploring past and present. I provide an empathic, non-judgmental space for people to share their thoughts and feelings freely. Psychodynamic therapy is typically considered a more in-depth therapeutic approach and understandably, this can take time, so I work in an open-ended way allowing people to take the time they need. We can discuss time-limited therapy too if this is a preference.

My work includes, but is not limited to, areas such as:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety or worry

  • Self-criticism

  • Low or changeable mood

  • Obsessional disorders

  • Personality disorders

  • Health anxiety

  • Social anxiety

  • Stress

  • Low self-esteem

  • Low motivation

  • Work issues

  • Relationship issues

  • Family issues

  • Eating difficulties

  • Attachment difficulties

  • Difficult experiences in childhood and onwards

Initial Telephone Consulation

FREE

I offer a free initial telephone call to briefly discuss what had led you to seeking therapy and what you might be looking for so we can have a think about whether we’d be a helpful match

Sessions

£120

If we decide to go ahead, we’d arrange a consultation (which may be across one or two sessions) where we would have a more in depth discussion about what brings you to therapy and to talk about working together.

Sessions would then take place weekly at a regular appointment time, face-to-face
